Bubbles, saved from euthanasia, now a happy pet

Mbombosi was brought to the Mdzananda Animal Clinic with severe mange and open sores from scratching. Her owner brought her to be euthanized because she no longer wanted her because she looked ugly. Dr Blessing and Sr Ros took one look at her sad little eyes and wagging tail and refused to euthanize. Instead she was admitted to hospital where she was treated for the mange condition. This girl, who we imagined would be difficult to rehome, immediately found her forever home. Liezl Watts, a lady who applied for a three legged dog named Sisi two months prior, fell in love with Mbombosi when reading about her story in our newsletter. Mbombosi stayed at Mdzananda for nearly three months while her skin healed. As soon as she was ready we were able to book her a free flight to Johannesburg to meet her new family. Liezl and her family absolutely adore this sweet girl. She has two fur siblings and gets spoilt rotten. They say that she lightens up the home and makes the family smile every day. Mbombosi, now named Bubbles, will also become a therapy pet to assist people who need extra love. What a special turnaround for this beautiful girl.
