A four week old pup is returned to health

A tiny four week old puppy was admitted to our hospital with a crusty eye and a lump on his head. He was one of three puppies, the others were healthy and strong. We named him Paws. Though his owner did not know what had happened to him, we believe that he was bitten by another dog - a common injury seen at our clinic. Our veterinarians lanced the abscess on his head ad treated his injured eye. He was given antibiotics and pain killers and a bandage was wrapped around his head to help the wound heal. Little Paws recovered well and returned home to his family and puppy siblings a week later.
